Power of the Purse commemorates woman tied to 9/11 tragedies
The Power of the Purse Luncheon is an annual luncheon hosted by the United Way Women’s Leadership Council to raise money for causes. Deborah Borza was the keynote speaker at the event and shared the lessons she has learned from the events on Sept. 11. Borza’s daughter, Deora, was one of the passengers on Flight 93, the hijacked airplane that crashed in Shanksville, Penn.
